Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino is similar to Red Rock and also offers entertainment, gambling, and concerts. The District at Henderson offers outdoor shopping and a variety of stores. Near Henderson is the Galleria Mall at Sunset for shopping and dining. Town Center is centrally located in the Vegas Valley, a bit closer to Henderson and also offers fine restaurants and shopping. Henderson will also be home to the Raider's practice stadium.

Red Rock Canyon is just up the road, a 200,000-acre conversation area is full of scenic drives, world-famous rock climbing, and hiking trails. Henderson has 64 parks, including Discovery Park and Paseo Verde Park, also offering one of the greatest skateboard parks. Henderson is not far from Hoover Dam and Lake Mead National Recreational Area. Henderson is closer to McCarran Airport and the Executive Airport, also shaving offer 40 minutes for those clients that have a home in California.
